Lot# 1: JAPANESE MEIJI SILK EMBROIDERED LANDSCAPE PANEL
framed under glass Provenance: The Estate of John Robert Weber John Robert Weber spent his entire life in Southern California where his passion for collecting Asian artifacts began more than 30 years ago. As a teacher, he continually strove to further educate himself on his areas of interest. Early on he developed relationships with dealers and galleries throughout the state and beyond aided later by the avid utilization of the internet for both acquisitions and information. Travels often involved a quest for hidden "treasures". His appreciation for the pieces involved not only their beauty, but the spiritual themes often represented. He would be pleased to see them continue their journey forward.
